“…It's no fun being an illegal alien…”
(Genesis)
I
have this music stuck in my head since yesterday. Actually, it’s how I fell: an
illegal alien. Hope I can get back to normal one of this days.
As
part of the project “Go out to avoid stay at home” I spent Sunday at Serra da
Arrábida. I have been there many many years ago and I can only remember
Setubal, the road along the coast and Portinho da Arrábida. The rest of the
places were quite new for me.
We
started the day getting lost somewhere along the road N10. Worst of all, we
lost ourselves more than once. Thanks to Sara, who swallowed a compass when she
was young, we managed to find the lost path.
The
journey began at Quinta de Alcube. We visited a small waterfall and then the
farm itself, where we tasted their 14º wine.
Lunch
time. We pointed to Setubal then took the road to Sesimbra and stopped in a
shadowed place near Galápos beach. The smell of the cheese attracted two
visitors, but they were not friendly, they didn’t come close.

After
lunch we went to Portinho da Arrábida but is was so crowded we turned back and
gave up visiting it.

Next
and last step was Cabo Espichel. We spent the rest of the afternoon there
before returning to Lisboa.

While
there we witnessed a performance of a new game called suicidal yoga.
That’s
all for today.
